Hope you are all good!
Yes.........I'm still on my jolly holidays,
BUT could not wait to share some of the New Dylusions Releases with you!
While I've been away
this gorgeous bundle of inky happiness arrived!
Wow thanks so much Dyan and Art from the Heart!
New Dyusions stamps, the new Dylusions journal ( a very handy handbag size) and the fabulous Dylusions ink spray pad......
I was soooooo excited to try everything but the ink pad as its a brand new product and couldn't wait to crack it open to play!
When you open the ink pad the foam is clear......all you need to do is to spray your favourite Dylusion sprays...... I used Bubblegum pink and lemon zest
After spraying onto the foam pad I took a Manila tag and pressed it directly onto the pad
Love the inky effect you get
(Ooops this picture is on its side....)
So then I experimented and lay a dylusions stencil directly onto the pad to add some patterns
Oooo now this can be very addictive!
Just press down the tag onto the stencil to reveal the pattern
Its a little like using a gelli plate but with your favourite Dylusion inks and stencils.........PERFECT!
Next I sprayed over the top of the stencil, removed it then pressed another tag into the pattern
I used about ten small tags before I had to re-ink the pad......
(to re-ink just re-spray the areas with the same colour inks)
I then took one of the new skull stamps....... and stamped directly into the pad
I SOOOOO love how these images look......
I wanted to have ago with other colours so was really interested to see if the pad would remove the existing colours from the pad.......
Well it did not disappoint!
All you need to do is to run it under a tap and gently rub your fingers over the pad, until the water runs clear
I used some kitchen towel to dry off the pad, the pad does not return to the clear foam but as you can see from this picture there is no pink on the the towel and is ready for new colours.
So I sprayed the pad fresh lime, lemon zest and cut grass....
As you can see no pink on the tag ....just the greens and yellow
When you've finished just rinse out as before...simples!
The Ink pad is so much fun.....
it gives you so many effects and is so easy to use....
If you've not got one yet.....you are so going to NEED one!
Here's what I did with some of the tags .........
I added some circles using distress paints, some remnant rub-ons and some stitching
I also added some flicks of black dylusions using a paint brush
I backed them onto Ranger #12 black tags and added some distress inks to the edges of the tags
And if that's not enough....
just turn over your pad and it acts as a palette for mixing your inks......BONUS!
Its been so much fun having a play with the new Dylusions....
