Hello friends
Hope you are all good!!
Here in the UK we have had lots of snow...its been so much fun....but very COLD!!
More on that later...
I managed to get a couple of hours this afternoom to thaw out from all the snow to create this tag hanging
Over at Simon Says (click here for all the details)they are asking you to share
"What you are known for??"
My first response was Moustaches!!those that know me well know that I have quite a collection!!
(But seeing as I don't have Tim's new die yet I couldn't go with that idea)
So I thought I would go with vintage.........
I love to collect things, stuff, knik knacks....... in fact anything I think I can use in my creating
So I used some vintage postage stamps along with some old lace a very old book cover and an old key

The Writing text stamp is from Stampers Anonymous/Tim holtz Classics#9
and the Post Card set are Tim's too stamped in Archival

I used Tim's Crackle paint in Weathered wood along with Tim holtz Distress ink (Walnut Stain)
on a Ranger#10 manilla tag

I added some Idea-ology ribbon, pin and book plate, the word travel was done with a dymo machine, the tag was then mounted onto a very old book cover,
I added some rusty wire and eyelets to hang it from
As I said we have had lots of snow..... So here's what we created with the snow....
A snowball lantern
To make you need lots of snowballs,
start by forming a circle of snowballs (about the size of a very large plate)
place a tea-light in the centre, then build up the circle with snowballs so it looks like a mini igloo
but ensure you leave a gap at the top
when night falls take a long match and light the tea-light,
They look so fabulous and soooo pretty
And when it snows you have to make a snowman.....right??
heres mine!
As always feel free to leave a comment great to know you passed by
Hope you enjoy the snow!!
Stay warm and safe
Kaz

Lovely vintage and what you did with the s-n-o-w. I am afraid to say the word so we spell it so it can't find us. 0 degrees here today with wind. That's enough winter for me. :)
